The Rocky Mountain Gymnastic Training Center, commonly referred to as simply The Rock, is a gymnastics club featured in season 1 and 2 of Make It or Break It. Though it is unclear exactly what year the gym opened, it was founded by the Cruz family with help of the Tanner family between the year 2000 and 2005. The Rock is one of the best gyms in the country and has employed some of the best coaches in the sport, Marty Walsh and Sasha Belov. Marty was found and hired by Steve Tanner and Alex Cruz when the gym opened, but was replaced with Sasha following the events of the pilot episode. Due to its great reputation, The Rock was chosen as the official training gym for Women's National Gymnastics Team. Its reputation suffered a blow after several personal and professional crises of the athletes at the gym, and started to be seen as a rogue gym.
Throughout the show, The Rock has hosted competitions against Pinewood, the Chinese Women's Gymnastics team, and Denver Elite Gymnastics Club - The Rock's rival.

- Three athletes have hung their banner outside the gym: Kaylie Cruz, national champion; Austin Tucker, Olympic Gold Medalist; and Kelly Parker, World Champion.
- Though the show only shows the office, the gallery, the lobby, and the main training floor, there is supposedly and annex building where more of the men's equipment and practice equipment are held.
- Key members of The Rock get their own parking space. The Tanner, Cruz, Keeler, and Kmetko families have all had their own space, as well as the coaches.
