Darby Conrad portrayed by Meagan Holder, was a coach at The Rock after Sasha Belov left. While Payson and Emily show disdain towards Darby due to her unconventional way of coaching, Lauren Tanner was ecstatic when she found out that she would be taking over. Darby's coaching method was a major difference from Sasha's. Rather than being strict, she had more of a "best friend" lenient approach which was shown to hurt the girls after their meet in Pinewood.
