Chloe Kmetko is a main character in the first and second seasons of the ABC drama series Make It or Break It. She is the single mother of Emily and Brian. She is portrayed by Susan Ward.
Background[]
Chloe is the mother of Emily and Brian. She has many financial struggles, at one point calling an ex-boyfriend she vowed never to talk to again in order to fund Emily's requirements for Nationals. She cares for both of her kids, and does whatever she can to try and get them what they want. Chloe works at a salon. She is eccentric and energetic, and often reveals information that she shouldn't about her children to Sasha and Damon. Chloe has a crush on Sasha, the coach at Emily's gymnastics club. After setting up a date with a man she meets online, she finds out it is Lauren's father, and the two begin secretly dating. Eventually, Emily and Lauren find out and this causes a rift between the two.
Unmarried and has a different sense of fashion than the others. Works at strip club to help pay for Emily's gymnastics. She leaves the show in season two because Emily got pregnant, with her ex-boyfriend, Damon's child and decided to quit gymnastics, and move to Las Vegas to raise the baby with her god mother.

Chloe works at a salon and struggles to provide for her children financially. She is eccentric and energetic, and often reveals information that she shouldn't about her children. She dates Lauren's father Steve after meeting him online, but they break up. After learning that Steve Tanner was funding Emily's scholarship, Chloe takes a second job as a bartender at a strip club. Chloe is a funny, entertaining goofball who really needs to grow up. She is the mother to two kids, yet she behaves more like a child herself. She is a snappy dresser who does not hesitate to "strut her stuff", and she puts a great deal of stock in her looks. She works at a beauty salon in Boulder until she gets fired and is forced to work at a lower-end establishment, which she hides from Emily so as not to upset her. Chloe flirts with Sasha when he first arrives at the gym, but she soon tires of his icy demeanor towards her. After Summer leaves Steve Tanner, he begins to date Chloe. He keeps this fact secret from his daughter for a while, up until she discovers who it is he has been seeing. She finds a dress he claims to have bought for the daughter of a woman he has been<seeing, at first assuming the dress was hers and then realizing that her father has bought it for Emily. Chloe tries hard to befriend Lauren, wanting to be liked by everyone, but is denied.
Later, Chloe is the first of the adults on the show to discover that Lauren has been sleeping with Carter. She agrees to keep this fact a secret right up until she realizes Lauren has no intention to tell her father, ever. Chloe threatens to expose Lauren's secret if she does not tell the truth herself. Lauren then does so in such a way that Steve believes that Lauren has been receiving sex advice from an approving Chloe. Steve breaks up with Chloe, thrilling Lauren and disappointing Chloe.
