"And the Rocky Goes To..." is the fourth episode in the second season of the ABC drama series Make It or Break It. It is the twenty fourth episode overall, and aired July 20, in 2010.
Synopsis[]
The Rock gears up for the annual awards banquet dinner, The Rocky Awards, and Lauren is determined to win the Miss Congeniality award the best way she knows how – with bribery and cheating. But even after all the free smoothies, barrettes and massages, will Lauren get her way or will she be usurped by a silent but strong contender – Emily? Meanwhile, both Payson and Kaylie go to extremes to achieve seemingly unattainable goals. Payson finds it difficult to see her sister overtaking her in the gymnastics world. Summer and Sasha share a kiss after she drinks too much at the banquet, but he leaves her at her house without taking advantage of her being drunk.
Plot[]
The 8th annual Rock banquet is coming close. Lauren and Emily are campaigning for the Rocky award:a popularity contest to most in the gym. Emily receives her first check from the Kipman Private Sports Endalment Group and she receives a new custom leotard but Lauren ruins it by spilling a red smoothie on it. Kaylie is gymnast of the year therefore prohibiting her from winning the Rocky like the years before as revealed in the begging of the episode.
